Jungle Book Cycling Experience takes you to central India’s famous “ Two Project Tiger” national parks having diverse wildlife, landscapes and tribal communities which makes it a fascinating region to cycle through the forested corridor which serves as a refuge to dispersing wildlife across the parks. OVERVIEW

This cycling journey connects two iconic tiger reserves—Pench National Park and Kanha National Park—offering diverse wildlife, forested landscapes, and vibrant tribal culture. Guided by an expert naturalist, the experience focuses on immersive exploration, responsible tourism, and meaningful engagement with nature and local communities.

Riding through the legendary forests of Seoni, famously linked to The Jungle Book, participants encounter wildlife habitats and rural villages where people coexist with nature. Cycling routes traverse forest corridors that enable tiger movement between reserves. Daily rides average 20–50 km, with flexibility based on fitness. Support vehicles follow at a safe distance, carrying refreshments and providing assistance whenever riders choose to rest.

DAY BY DAY

Day 01: Nagpur – Pench National Park

Arrive at Nagpur and drive about 2.5 hours to Pench. After a warm welcome at the lodge, select bicycles, freshen up in tree house rooms, enjoy lunch and briefing. Later, cycle to the Pench River and Jamtara forests before returning for dinner.

Day 02: Pench National Park

Start the day with an early morning safari. After exiting the park, cycle back to the lodge via nearby tribal villages. Spend the afternoon relaxing or cycling through buffer-zone forest trails.

Day 03: Pench – Rukhad Region

Post breakfast, drive to Rukhad, a vital forest stretch in the tiger corridor. Cycle across or around Rukhad Wildlife Sanctuary, followed by lunch at the historic Sakata Forest Rest House built in 1903. Later, drive to Karmajhiri gate for an evening game drive.

Day 04: Pench – Kanha Forest Corridor Ride

After an early breakfast, drive to the corridor zone and cycle through the Pench–Kanha forest link within the Satpura–Maikal landscape, a globally significant tiger conservation habitat. Enjoy a picnic lunch in this vital wildlife passage before continuing by vehicle to reach Kanha lodge by sunset.

Day 05: Kanha National Park

Begin with a morning jeep safari in Kanha. After lunch, cycle along scenic forest trails forming part of the larger corridor ecosystem.

Day 06: Kanha National Park

Enjoy another early game drive with picnic breakfast inside the park. Return to the lodge by late morning. Afternoon options include cycling in buffer forests or relaxing at leisure.

Day 07: Kanha – Departure

Conclude with a final morning safari and picnic breakfast. Return to the lodge and proceed for onward transfers to Jabalpur or back to Nagpur for further travel connections.
