Walking & Mobile Safari

Walking & Mobile Safari

More than two centuries after the first safari expedition brought the Europeans in direct contacts with the wilds; the lure of the experience endures. Out of the hardship of travel across difficult terrain in colonial Africa and India, came an experience of great luxury and sensuality. This ability to imbue any environment, no matter how alien, with the comfortable elements gave the travelers an exotic travel experience.

OVERVIEW

More than two hundred years after early safari expeditions introduced Europeans to the wilderness, the charm of immersive jungle travel still captivates explorers. This experience blends rugged journeys across remote terrain with refined comfort, creating an adventurous yet indulgent wildlife expedition.

India’s national parks attract countless wildlife enthusiasts, but strict regulations and heavy tourism often limit true wilderness immersion. To address this, the safari combines classic jeep drives with guided walks into lesser-visited forest zones, offering a deeper connection with untouched landscapes, wildlife habitats, tribal villages, rivers, hills, temples, and historic forts—home to the majestic Indian tiger.

Camps are simple, with no electricity, featuring tents with cots and essential comforts. Skilled camp staff and naturalists ensure personalized service, while fresh meals are prepared on-site. The safari runs November–March with a maximum of ten guests to preserve exclusivity and minimize ecological impact.
